Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Neuroscienze Cognitive e Riabilitazione Psicologica
The Master Course (CdLM) in Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychological Rehabilitation (LM 51) provides psychologists with neuropsychological knowledge needed to identify specific cognitive deficits, evaluate their effects on patients’ emotional state and quality of life and to adopt appropriate rehabilitative interventions.
The CdLM trains students to perform research in Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology, Psychobiology and Physiological Psychology, by providing teaching of high scientific quality, and by supervising practical activities in didactic and professionalizating laboratories. The CdLM also support students in producing data for their experimental thesis in the research laboratories at the Department of Psychology and the institutions with which the Department has formal collaboration agreements (Fondazione Santa Lucia IRCCS, Istituto di Scienze e Tecnologie della Cognizione, Istituto di Biologia Cellulare e Neurobiologia).
Graduate students that will also obtain the professional qualification of psychologists will be able to work as freelance psychologists or as employees or consultants at private health organizations (associations, cooperatives, foundations, ONG), in Local Health Companies and Public Hospitals.
Graduate students will have the necessary background to access to the third level of clinical (Specialization Schools) or research (Research Doctorate) education.
